A set of coasters weighs under 1 kg and a grand dining table around 110 kg, so the rate is banded by the weight of the whole order rather than charged as one flat fee.
When it ships
Ready homeware leaves us within 1–2 business days. Made-to-order furniture is dispatched after it is built — see the lead time on each listing (typically 3–8 weeks) — and we confirm a dispatch date when your piece is finished.
Large items travel on a pallet
Every item over 100 kg ships on a pallet. Delivery is kerbside: the carrier brings the pallet to the door of the building, not up stairs or into a room. A large table or bed is a two-person handling job, and most pieces are delivered flat or in sections for assembly. If access is tight, tell us before ordering.
Times
Once dispatched, parcels reach a Norwegian address in 2–5 business days, the rest of Europe in 4–10 business days, and other destinations in 7–20 business days. Pallet shipments are booked with a freight carrier who calls ahead to agree a delivery window; allow 5–15 business days.
Customs and import charges
Goods are dispatched from Norway. For deliveries outside Norway, any import duty, VAT or clearance fee charged in the destination country is payable by the recipient and is not included in our prices. Import rules are set by the destination country, so please check them before ordering.
Damage in transit
Check the pallet before you sign for it, note any damage on the carrier's paperwork, and photograph it — that is what makes a claim straightforward. Tell us within 7 days. This is a request to help us resolve it quickly; your statutory rights are not affected.
